Newspaper stands sell a predictable number of newspapers, but only when you take into account a variety of factors.
For example, the day of the week and weather are crucial factors. The tool we designed predicted to a 95% accuracy the expected sales of each sales point (there are over 2,500 points of sales across the country) one week in advance to adjust the number of items sent to each point of sale.
We minimized newspaper returns while always keeping a safety margin.
